JibJib ("we", "us") is a shared shopping list app for couples. We believe a grocery app has no business hoovering up your personal data. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we don't.

What we collect

• A display name — the name you type when you start using JibJib. No email or password is required to use the app.
• A device identifier — used to keep your account linked to your phone and to sync your list.
• Your shopping list content — items, categories, photos, and voice notes you add, so they can be shared with your paired partner and synced across devices.
• A push notification token — if you allow notifications, so we can alert you when your partner adds or checks an item.
• Anonymous usage & crash data — aggregated, non-identifying analytics and crash reports that help us fix bugs and improve the app.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not require or store your email, phone number, or password.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not build advertising profiles.

How your data is shared

Your shopping list is shared only with the single partner you pair with. Pairing is mutual and can be undone at any time from Settings, which disconnects the shared list.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted services to run JibJib:

• Push delivery (OneSignal) — delivers notifications to your device.
• Crash & analytics — helps us diagnose crashes and understand aggregate, anonymous usage.
• Hosting & storage — stores your list and media on servers we operate.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings). Once deleted, your list, media, and profile are permanently removed.

Children

JibJib is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
